VX-ROM

If your car is fitted with a VX-ROM and you would like some information on the contents of the map please send us the Mine’s serial number and the make, model and year of your car to: inquire@kanzenperformance.com.

We will pass this information to Mine’s who may, or may not have the unit on record. Please note that detailed information cannot be supplied, only general settings such as max boost pressure, injector size, rpm etc.

VX-ROM for international use

At present the VX-ROM is only mapped by Mine’s in Japan. They do not have any authorised dealers outside of Japan that can make adjustments to the map.

However, Mine’s are now able to supply fully mapped VX-ROM’s to their customers outside of Japan, setup for different Octane fuels and climate conditions. This is not a simple task, and first requires consultation after receiving complete and detailed information on your engine modifications to determine if it is possible. Mine’s can either send you a new VX-ROM, or you can send your existing ECU as a trade in.

Please note that there are limitations. Mine’s can only provide VX-ROM’s on a supply only basis if you have basic engine modifications, or Mine’s tuning parts. Mine’s retain a huge data store which is used to assist in the creation of a map, but this does not include data for all other manufacturers tuning parts.

If you would like to purchase a complete engine, then a VX-ROM can be supplied fully mapped although it does depend which grade of fuel you wish to use. Please contact us to discuss your requirements, but before doing so ensure you have a detailed list of ALL engine modifications listed in a logical order.
